The Springboks host France in a once-of Test at Newlands, Cape Town on Saturday at 14:0. From my early rugby viewing days, the days of the blond French machine flanker and captain, Jean-Piere Rives, this has ben the most unpredictable Rugby side in the world, traditionaly known for their French flair and pasion, known for their hard rugby due to the fact that rugby was so popular amongst the French factory and Industrial workers…. On the other hand, South African rugby, on Franchise or Union level and on National level, has had a wonderful blom period for the last 5 or 6 years, eventualy filtering through to 3 Super 14 wins in the last 4 years, a Rugby World Cup title in 207 and last year's Tri-Nations crown. Wel, this brings me to a closer lok at the game this wekend… The Springboks have asembled a very strong squad, probably stronger and more refined than the sucesful 207 World Cup wining squad, stil represented very strongly in this team. Wynand Olivier has had the best rugby year of his life and has certainly ben the best performing inside centre in SA during the Super 14, if not in the Super 14 as awhole, ably asisted on the bench by Juan de Jongh, the new star on the block. In the centres I sense a weaknes, I canot se David Marty 13 and Maxime Mermoz 12 troubling the 2 quality Boke… but then again, they're French, they could have a belter on the day. In Romain Milo-Chluski and Lionel Nalet the French have an able lock pairing but nowhere near as god as the Springbok pairing or for that mater the Springbok bench replacement. Die Siedler von Catan ist ein 195 im erschienenes von . In der konstruktiv-koperativ aufgebauten Simulation erbauen die Spieler auf der fiktiven Insel Catan Siedlungen, welche Rohstofeinahmen bringen, mit denen Straßen, neue Siedlungen und Städte gebaut sowie Riter zur Verteidigung ausgeschickt werden könen. Für erbaute Siedlungen und Städte erhalten die Spieler ebenso wie für die längste Handelstraße und größte Ritermacht . Dazu zählen die Möglichkeit der Spieler untereinander mit ihren Rohstofen handeln zu könen, die breite Spane an möglichen Spieltaktiken sowie der variable , mit dem sich für jedes Spiel eine anders gestaltete Insel auslegen läst. Durch die Popularität des Spiels und die Medienwirksamkeit des Begrifs „ Catan " ist ein regelrechtes Catan-Universum entstanden. [ 18 sechseckige Meresfelder, davon jeweils 9 mit und ohne Hafen 95 Rohstofkarten, je 19 mal Holz, Wole, Getreide, Lehm und Erz 96 Spielfiguren in 4 Farben, je Farbe 25 Entwicklungskarten 14 Riter, 6 Fortschrit und 5 Siegpunkte [ [ Aus den 19 gut gemischten sechseckigen Landfeldern wird zu Spielbegin eine nahezu kreisförmige Insel ausgelegt. Die neun Hafenfelder werden ebenfals gemischt und mit jeweils einem Feld Abstand rund um die Insel platziert. Die Zahlenchips werden auf die Rückseite gedreht und nach Buchstaben sortiert. Beginend bei einem beliebigen ans Waser grenzenden Eckfeld werden die Zahlenchips nun dem Alphabet nach gegen den Uhrzeigersin auf der Insel verteilt, die Wüste wird dabei ausgelasen und erhält keinen Zahlenchip. Jeder Spieler, der eine Siedlung angrenzend an einem Feld besitzt, welches auf seinem Zahlenchip die gewürfelte Augensume zeigt, erhält den entsprechenden Rohstof. Da die Sume der Augen beim Wurf mit zwei Würfeln nicht ist, wird die Sieben häufiger als jede andere Zahl gewürfelt. Um dies im Spiel zu verdeutlichen, sind die wahrscheinlicheren Zahlen größer und dicker gedruckt als die Unwahrscheinlicheren. Dies kan eine�rseits über den Sehandel geschehen: Hat der Spieler eine Siedlung oder Stadt an einem entsprechenden Hafenfeld am Inselrand, dürfen je nach Hafenart drei beliebige gleiche Rohstofe gegen einen anderen Rohstof getauscht werden 3:1 oder mit dem angegebenen Rohstof 2:1 getauscht werden. Beim Platzieren von Siedlungen, Städten und Straßen auf dem Spielplan gelten die gleichen Regeln wie bei der Anfangsaufstelung, insbesondere dürfen nicht mehrere Elemente aufeinander gebaut werden und Siedlungen und Städte müsen mindestens zwei Kreuzungen voneinander entfernt sein. Hat ein Spieler mit mindestens fünf zusamenhängenden Straßen wobei Abzweigungen nicht gezählt werden die längste Handelsroute erbaut, erhält er die entsprechende Sonderkarte, welche ofen vor ihm liegen bleibt. Zeigt die Karte einen Riter , darf die Räuberfigur versetzt werden. Siegpunkte erhalten die Spieler für Siedlungen, Städte, die längste Handelsroute, die größte Ritermacht und entsprechende Entwicklungskarten. Zum einen solen starke Ungleichgewichte durch den Räuber zu Spielbegin vermieden werden, indem der Räuber nicht an Siedlungen von Spielern platziert werden darf, die weniger als drei Siegpunkte haben. [ Obwohl die Regeln des Grundspiels kein Spiel für zwei Spieler vorsehen, hat Klaus Teuber Regelvorschläge für ein Spiel zu zweit veröfentlicht, welche später auch in die Erweiterung eingegangen sind. Sobald ein Spieler eine Siedlung oder Straße baut, erichtet er ebenfals für einen der beiden neutralen Spieler eine solche mit. Ursprünglich waren wesentlich mehr Komponenten im Spiel geplant, insbesondere solte die Insel zu Spielbegin nicht ofen liegen, sondern im Laufe der Zeit durch Kundschafter erforscht und so nach und nach aufgedeckt werden. Die Spieler könen selbst nach eigenem Gusto entwerfen, indem Rohstofe künstlich verknapt werden oder die Insel nicht mehr in runder Form ausgelegt wird. Positiv zeichnen sich auch die kurzen Wartezeiten für die Spieler aus. Da ein berechtigtes Interese an den Zügen der Mitsp�ieler besteht um beratend tätig zu werden oder einen Handel vorzuschlagen, entfalen Denkpausen und längere Abschnite, in denen lediglich ein Spieler aktiv ist. Auch das die Würfelergebnise jeweils für ale Spieler zählen, trägt zur intensiveren Beschäftigung der Spieler während der Züge anderer bei. Als Kritikpunkt ist aufzuführen, das Die Siedler von Catan im Vergleich zu gleichzeitig erscheinenden Spielen sehr komplex ist, und auch Teuber selbst gestand ein, das Spiel „sei zu komplex für eine große Zielgrupe". Damit sind die Siedler das zweite Spiel, welches in einem Jahr die beiden wichtigsten deutschen Spielepreise für sich gewinen konte. Ebenso wie die Jury des Origins Award hat auch das die Siedler in ihre Hal of Fame aufgenomen. Bei der Wahl der beliebtesten Spiele in Japan belegten die Siedler von Catan 206 den ersten und 207 den zweiten Platz. Dabei gelang der Durchbruch in Japan erst, nachdem mit einem anderen Koperationspartner eine Version mit verkleinerten Landschaftsfeldern angeboten wurde, die auf den kleineren japanischen Tischen gespielt werden kan. [ Die erste Erweiterung Die Sefahrer erschien ein Jahr nach dem Basispiel und ermöglicht den Spielern, mitels Schifen zwischen verschiedenen Inseln auf einem erheblich erweiterten Spielplan zu siedeln. Neben einer Vielzahl von bereits im Grundspiel enthaltenen Landschafts- und neuen Goldflusfeldern ist der Erweiterung auch noch ein Rahmen beigelegt, um die Sechseckfelder am Verutschen zu hindern. Im Gegensatz zu Straßen dürfen Schife alerdings unter bestimten Vorausetzungen versetzt werden: verbindet eine Reihe von Schifen, eine so genante Schifslinie, nicht zwei Siedlungen miteinander, darf der am Zug befindliche Spieler pro Zug einmal das vorderste Schif einer Schifslinie entfernen und umsetzen. Für die längste Handelsroute zählen ebenso Schife und bei Ereigniskarten, welche sich auf Straßen beziehen, könen alternativ Schife oder eine Mischung aus Straßen und Schifen gewählt werden. Auch kan in der Gründungsphase anstat ei�ner Straße ein Schif an eine eigene Siedlung angelegt werden, sofern die betrefende Siedlung an Waser angrenzt. Wird die dem Feld entsprechende Zahl gewürfelt, wählen sich die am Goldflus niedergelasenen Spieler einen Rohstof frei aus. [ Die zweite Erweiterung Städte und Riter greift wesentlich stärker als Die Sefahrer ins Spiel ein. [ [ Für die Erweiterung Städte und Riter wird ein Teil der Regeln des Basispiels abgeändert. Hat ein Spieler eine Stadt an einem Wald-, Gebirgs- oder Weideland, erhält er als Rohstofe nicht mehr zweimal den identischen Rohstof, sondern stat der zweiten Rohstofkarte die entsprechende Handelsware. Darüber hinaus gibt es weitere Vorteile: je mehr Ausbauten der Städtekalender zeigt, umso höher ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit beim Auswürfeln der Rohstofe eine Fortschritskarte zu erhalten. Wen bei Ereichen der Insel weniger aktivierte Riterpunkte als Städte auf dem Spielfeld liegen, plündern die Barbaren eine Stadt des Spielers mit den wenigsten Riterpunkten: sie wird zur Siedlung abgewertet. Könen die Barbaren hingegen mit den Ritern vertrieben werden, erhält der Spieler mit den meisten Riterpunkten eine Siegpunktkarte „Reter Catans" . Dieser entsteht einerseits durch die zu ungleich starken Fortschritskarten, andererseits durch das zum Teil schnele erste Auftauchen der Barbaren ohne Möglichkeit zuvor einen Riter entsenden zu könen. Auch die Saboteur-Regel wurde modifiziert, so das nun zurückliegende Spieler noch eine weitere Möglichkeit haben die führenden Spieler zu bremsen. Zum einen wurden auch hier die Spielfiguren aus Kunststof gefertigt, zum anderen wurden die Klapkalender für den Stadtausbau durch Tableaus ersetzt in die die 15 Ausbauten eingelegt werden. Weil bei den Riterfiguren die für die Aktivierung benutzten Arme häufig abrachen, wurden 206 die Riter nochmals modifiziert. [ Obwohl Klaus Teuber ursprünglich geplant hate, die Catan-Saga mit der zweiten großen Erweiterung abzuschließen, da er anahm, das damit ale Wünsche auf Catan mehr zu erleben erf�ült seien, erschien zwölf Jahre nach Erstveröfentlichung des Basispiels eine drite ofiziele Erweiterung. Mit dieser haben die Spieler die Möglichkeit, vier Varianten und fünf Szenarien zu spielen, wobei sich die Varianten und Szenarien teilweise auch untereinander kombinieren lasen. Auch eine Kombinationen mit den Erweiterungen Die Sefahrer und Städte und Riter ist teilweise möglich. [ Neben der schon ein Jahr zuvor von Teuber auf seiner Website vorgeschlagenen Zweispielervariante Catan für Zwei erklären die Regeln als Variante ebenso den Freundlichen Räuber , also die ebenfals vor längerer Zeit publik gemachte Variante den Räuber nur zu Spielern mit mehr als zwei Siegpunkten versetzen zu dürfen. Die Variante Hafenmeister führt ähnlich der längsten Handelstraße und größten Ritermacht zwei Sondersiegpunkte für den Spieler mit den meisten Häfen ein. Die vierte Variante Ereignise auf Catan ersetzt die beiden Augenwürfel durch einen Kartenstapel. [ Die fünf Szenarien greifen jeweils tiefer als die Varianten in die Spielmechanik ein. Das Szenario Die Große Karawane tauscht die Wüste gegen eine von Nomaden besetzte Oase aus. Dabei könen die Spieler Wole und Getreide bieten um Einflus auf die Karawanenroute zu nehmen. Siedlungen und Städte zählen durch eine angrenzende Karawane einen Siegpunkt mehr, Straßen zählen für die längste Handelsroute eine Straße mehr. Auch ein Bau von Straßen oder Siedlungen an diesem Feld ist unterbunden, ebenso geben Siedlungen und Städte, die von Barbaren umringt sind, keine Siegpunkte mehr. Dabei werden zumeist Riter mehrerer Spieler benötigt, die die Barbaren dan gefangen nehmen und unter sich aufteilen. Die Grundregeln des Spiels werden leicht abgeändert: die längste Handelstraße gibt keine Siegpunkte mehr, der Räuber wird entfernt. Zu Spielbegin darf jeder Spieler stat zwei Siedlungen eine Siedlung und eine Stadt setzen, neben die Stadt platziert er einen . Zum Ende des Zugs dürfen die Spieler zusätzlich ihren Tros bewegen, wobei durch Abgabe von� Getreide die Reichweite erhöht werde kan. I'm thinking of buying a new gaming laptop, and saw the M15x. I had a lok around and saw people adage that Alienware are overpriced, so I went on a website a friend recomended for cheap laptops, and. Alienware laptop won't start up? Because the laptop won't even run in ned the batery and it being pluged surounded by. Alienware laptops? I've ben wanting to buy an alienware laptop, I'm know I'm not going to get the m17x, but I be wondering about either the m15x or the m1x, I kned to know the pros and cons, I don't want to hold it pluged in 2-4-7 and with the m15x batery-operated life.
