There are two broad types of recycling operations: internal and external. Internal recycling is.... materi wast

Internal recycling is the reuse in a manufacturing process of materials that are a waste product of that process. External recycling is the reclaiming of materials from a product that has been worn out or rendered obsolete. These materials can be collected by any of three main methods: buy-back centres, which purchase waste materials that have been sorted and brought in by consumers; drop-off centres, where consumers can deposit waste materials but are not paid for them; and curbside collection, in which homes and businesses sort their waste materials and deposit them by the curb for collection by a central agency. Recycling becomes economically attractive when the cost of reprocessing waste or recycled material is less than the cost of processing new raw materials. Ferrous products ( i.e., and steel) can be recycled by both internal and external methods. The scrap comes from a variety of manufacturing operations that use steel as a basic material and from discarded or obsol! ete goods made from iron and steel. materi wast
